A completely new comic! Something I’ve regretted is that I neglected Blue’s character a lot. Even the comics Blue is in are more focused on her team. And where does Blue coming from Pallet Town work its way in?

… why weren’t the gym badges drawn in the earlier version? What was I thinking? There was a perfect place to put them, and I just didn’t.
I did mess with the development of the conversation a little to make Green less melodramatic. The previous version meshed this version’s comics 3 and 4 together in an extraordinarily long strip and I didn’t have room to put boyish antics in.

A redrawn comic.
I have yet to decide what PKMN stands for, or even if it needs to stand for anything. The first acronym I came up with was painfully lacking and we will just ignore it for now until I am forced to come up with something at a later date.

It’s a parody comic, let’s just roll with it.

I have always wanted to do a parody of Prof Oak’s opening speech in the Gijinka setting. Redrew Oak Labs to be more similar to any canonical instance of Prof Oak’s Lab, though it’s more a mishmash of all of the versions, drawing more from the anime.

A redrawn comic.
Original comments:

“Why yes, I did just want an excuse to draw plugsuits.

I was having some problems reconciling certain things in this au, mostly the whole 6+1 groups of people running around thing. Groups of seven are really awkward to choreograph, and it was just crazy to think of many, many groups of seven people running amok and camping out and stuff.

I’m sure there’s a good reason most teams in fiction are teams of four-ish.

So yeah, that kinda tied me down for a while”
